Tournament Organizers Check List

To help your tournament run smoothly, Pine View has put together an Organizers Check List. You will find some mandatory requirements* set by Pine View and some others helpful to your tournament.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

  • Secure date with required deposit.*

  • Fill out registration form.* (Can be downloaded from web site.)

  • Finalize contract and sign.*

  • Send in tee sheet with final numbers no later than 8 days prior to event.*

  • Finalize number of golf carts required no later than 8 days prior to event.*

  • Send in Hole Designation List no later than 8 days prior to event.*

  • Any signage must arrive at least 1 day prior to event.*

  • Finalize numbers for dinners no later than 48 hours out.*

  • Notify all volunteers to arrive no later than 1 hour prior to tee off. If you require them to be out at a designated hole, please have them identify themselves at the pro shop.*

  • Be sure to let us know of any special requirements that you may need, i.e. banquet hall set up, dietary requests, etc.

  • Book date for next year. (repeat dates can not be guaranteed)

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Please ensure that all tournament players are aware of these rules.

  1. The Professional or his staff has the right to remove players from the course for non-compliance of the rules.

  2. Each player must have his/her own set of golf clubs and bag.

  3. Proper golf attire must be worn at all times.

  4. No group larger than a foursome has playing privileges on the course.

Pine View Municipal Golf Course is a fully licensed establishment and is governed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. (A.G.C.O.) Under the Liquor License Act, it is illegal to serve customers to intoxication, promote practices that may encourage customers to become intoxicated, or serve someone who already is or seems to be intoxicated. Licensees who do, can lose their liquor license for seven to 45 days or even permanently.

“The goal of our establishment is to be successful by providing responsible, courteous and professional service and selling more than just alcoholic beverages.
We will serve customers in a responsible, friendly and
professional manner. 
Staff are on hand to assist customers in
their decision to drink in moderation and, where appropriate, avoid drinking activities that put customers at harm or risk. 
Management is committed to adhere to all liquor laws.”

  • Under the Liquor License Act, it is illegal to permit a patron or patrons to bring in their own alcohol for consumption with out a permit. There for we reserve the right to prohibit the use of any personal coolers brought onto the property.

  • Pine View reserves the right to confiscate any cooler and its contents while on our property.

  • Pine View reserves the right to deny entry to any patron that we deem intoxicated by alcohol or any other substance

  • All alcoholic beverages must be purchased on this property.

  • Course is marshaled to control general conduct and speed of play.

GAS CARTS

  • The participant acknowledges that the safe operation of P.V.M.G.C. gas carts require that an operator be 21 years of age and that each gas cart is to carry no more than two people and two sets of clubs. * Absolutely no children to operate said cart at any time!

  • Gas cats are considered motor vehicles, for the purpose of impaired driving offences. Please do not drink and drive.

  • Tampering with gas carts will automatically result in removal of said cart with no refund.

  • Gas carts/pull carts must be 30 feet from green and tees.

  • Gas carts must be returned to the Pro Shop area immediately following golf round.
